2024 Inclement Weather Policy (Rain / Heat / Lightning)

Generally we treat inclement weather as a regular day. As the quote goes: "There is no bad weather, just bad clothing choices". Should there be light rain we will be outside and continuing to run our program. If the clay infields start to get mushy we will do modified activities on the grass outfield areas.

• In the event of dangerous or unsafe playing conditions while campers are at camp, we may temporarily use the overhang and change rooms until the weather has passed (30 minutes after last lightning/thunder occurence). 

• Should it be determined that in extreme circumstances camp can not continue, parents will be contacted and asked to arrange to have their child picked up asap. For reference, last year we did not need to send kids home at all due to weather.

• As always, parents can make their own judgment wether or not to send their camper to camp on inclement weather days. Please ensure you inform our camp facilitator Finley (647-916-4908) if your child will be late or absent so we can have an accurate attendance. Early pick ups still need to be signed out. There are no make up days in these circumstances.
